Short Story of Erik and Stacey

Founded in early 2022 by husband-and-wife team, Erik and Stacey Vaughan, Epiphany is a mushroom and mental health company based in Akron, Ohio. While they come from vastly different professional backgrounds, Erik (finance/economics) and Stacey (design/marketing) share a passion and devotion for the healing power of mushrooms. This connection is what laid the foundation for Epiphany Mushroom Company.

Epiphany Gardens Inc. is our non-profit affiliate committed to providing broad access to the healing power of mushrooms through education and advocacy. Our educational programs and neighborhood gardens offer the tools, training and resources necessary for successful urban farming and home gardening with a specific focus on underserved populations. It is our goal to increase the availability of fresh vegetables and mushrooms to create better health outcomes for program participants and our local communities
